Rakshika ‘Isly’ bandage offers conventional design which helps stopping of blood flow from traumatic bleeding wounds in critical field conditions. The open “C” shape clip provides adequate pressure on bleeding point and helps in covering the injured limb. 
 
The absorbent wound pad is non-adherent which allows comfortable removal of dressing. To improve efficacy, wound pad is impregnated with antiseptic, is covered with non-stick lining which helps in easy removal of dressing.
 
Holding knots have been provided in between layers of bandage so that bandage would not unfold on its own even when it is dropped on ground.
Bandage has a closure bar in the end which helps in easily securing the bandage. By twisting the closure bar, a tourniquet effect could be generated on the wound site.
